Day 2 || Match 2 || EGYPT (0) vs URUGUAY (1) || Ekaterinburg Arena

So, it's another great day in this fifa world cup. Both of the teams played very well but the Uruguay sailed some high thanks to the late header by Gimenez to clinch the game with 1-0.

Playing without their key player, Mo Salah, Egypt still got some good moves but can't convert their efforts to goal. On the contrary, Uruguay with their star striking pairs of Suarez and Cavani hope for an easy win, but it was not going to be easy for them.

FIRST HALF:

Seven minutes into the play, Cavani had his low shot on target but well saved by Egyptian goalie. Then some good play by Pharoahs. 

Suarez got a great chance to score at 25 minutes, but missed badly. After some physical play, first half ended with 0-0.

SECOND HALF:

One minute into beginning of this half, Suarez again missed a near one, must had a bad day today.

After some rush and good game play, both teams are still 0-0, and its just ten minutes remains.

Uruguay started firing mercilessly, Cavani had some thunders back to back. But the day was of Gimenez. Just one minute remaining in the game, at 89:00, Uruguay got a free kick at a prone position. Kick is taken and bang!! Gimenez stroke a powerful header into the nets.

Whole arena went mad. Mo Salah can be seen crying. 

It was an amazing match to watch and despite of just being a group stage match, it was disheartening for Pharoahs. Purely classifying  - Football is Football!!
